Shipping update for US customers
Now shipping to the US
We're happy to announce that we're once again able to accept orders from customers resident in the US.
Although our carrier, CTT, is yet to resume services for the shipment of goods to the US, as of today (12 November 2025) we're introducing a new service with UPS offering:
- Fully inclusive pre-paid duties (meaning no delays in customs and no surprise charges when you receive your order)
- 3 to 5 business day delivery across the US
- Live international tracking
- 100% carbon neutral delivery
We've selected the UPS Expedited product for our customers for its affordability, its reliability, and its hassle-free, Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) service, which allows us to pre-pay all customs duties and fees on your behalf.
This means that your order will pass straight through US customs on arrival at the border and be delivered without any delays or surprise additional charges.
Free shipping
We're pleased to announce that we're still able to offer free shipping on all orders placed by customers in the US with a value over $300. Shipping for orders under $300 will be charged at a flat rate of $40.
Returns, repairs and adjustments
Due to ongoing uncertainty about the treatment of cross-border returns by US Customs and Border Protection, we are temporarily unable to accept the return of garments by customers resident in the US for exchange, repair or adjustment.
Once we're again able to offer these services, we'll update you here.
Update: 20 September 2025
At present, we are still unable to accept orders from customers resident in the US.
As with many other international mail and courier services across Europe, our carrier, CTT, has temporarily suspended all of its services for the shipment of goods to the US.
CTT has advised that its suspension will remain in place until it has been able to clarify and develop a solution to meet the new requirements of US Customs and Border Protection which were introduced with the removal of the $800 de minimis allowance for the import of goods into the US effective 29 August.
We are actively communicating with CTT on the development of their solution and also looking at other options with alternative providers, all with a view to opening up orders to customers in the US again in the near future.
In doing so, we want to guarantee that we continue to offer customers a shipping service which is:
- affordable
- reliable, and
- hassle-free.

Update: 25 August 2025
As of today, we're temporarily pausing the receipt of orders from customers resident in the US.
We're doing this as a result of ongoing uncertainty around the removal of the $800 de minimis allowance for the import of goods into the US, and what requirements and processes are going to look like for packages received by US customs from 29 August.
Both mail and courier services across Europe are halting the receipt of packages bound for the US, and we don't want customers placing orders which we simply aren't able to get to them.
We did not want to do this. We've spent many hours examining all of our and your options, on the telephone to our postal partner here in Portugal, reaching out to other carriers, sending emails, and hoping to see commitments or further useful details from US Customs and Border Protection or from USPS. But in short, we've really been left with no other option.
We're hoping that this pause is as brief as possible and we'll continue to work as hard as we can to find an affordable, reliable solution that we can get in place for you all as soon as possible. Our US customers mean so much to us and are hugely important to us. We know that many of you have supported ColieCo from the very beginning of our journey, and we won't be turning our backs on you.

Background
The US government has issued advice stating that the US$800 duty-free exemption for international packages (the de minimis exemption) will be removed for all packages from all countries with effect from 29 August 2025.
What you need to know

All international e-commerce orders made by US residents will be subject to import duties/fees with effect from 29 August 2025

Beyond the respective executive order, very little information has been provided by US Customs and Border Protection (USCBP) or USPS as to how duties/fees will be levied and collected on International Postal Service packages

Many European (and other) postal and courier service providers are temporarily suspending receipt of packages destined for the US until clearer information has been provided by USCBP and they have had time to develop and implement new procedures
- As things stand, ColieCo Lingerie will not be assuming responsibility for the calculation or collection of any customs duties/fees due with effect from 29 August.
